An older man, who lives in a camper, somewhere in the Texas desert, hurries out of the trailer to mount the neon sign “Bar”. Startled, he hides inside and, holding the shotgun in his hand, looks out the window for an approaching sound source. A motorcyclist coming from a distance notices the inscription and, hoping for a cold drink, decides to stop. He does not know, however, that these are the last moments of his life, because the old man is involved in matters that are much larger and at the same time grotesque, thanks to which he buys his time on this earthly pit.
